John Petrucelli Joins Mailmethods™ as New Chief Marketing Officer

mailmethods™ adds deep e-commerce expertise to team as company moves more aggressively into retail and financial services markets.

 Portsmouth, NH, February 1, 2008 – mailmethods™, a transactional email marketing company, announced today that John Petrucelli has joined the company as CMO. The announcement underscores a significant shift for mailmethods™ toward the retail and financial services markets.

John brings over 20 years of high tech marketing, e-commerce and strategic management experience to mailmethods™. Formerly with Mobility Services International, (MSI), a leading mobility company, John helped the company grow and expand globally. As former vice president of e-commerce for the (profitable) online retailer Kitchen Etc., John combines his technology expertise with e-commerce marketing. John cataloged over 60,000 SKUs and developed a fully integrated e-commerce engine for Kitchen Etc. that linked the web to in-store kiosks, POS systems, inventory management, finance and a national bridal registry.

Mr. Petrucelli brings over 20 years of high tech marketing, e-commerce and strategic management experience to mailmethods. Prior to joining mailmethods, John was vice president of e-commerce for the (profitable) online retailer Kitchen Etc., where he cataloged over 60,000 SKUs and developed a fully integrated e-commerce engine that linked the web to in-store kiosks, POS systems, inventory management, finance and a national bridal registry.

John spent many years at Lotus Development Corp., where he helped establish the business partner marketing organization and later pioneered Lotus' web site, intranet and extranets. While at Lotus, he helped to coordinate IBM and Lotus interactive marketing efforts and served on IBM's e-business taskforce.

John has held senior marketing and management positions at Dun & Bradstreet Software, Cognos Corporation, and internet consultancy iXL. John received a BS from Boston University in PreMed/Biology and Computer Science. He currently lives on the Seacoast of New Hampshire with his wife and three daughters.
